Hermetic Rush has become the regional distributor for the Aquarius II. Download the PDF
here
Imagine being able to harness the energy in the earth to heat and cool your home
in an environmentally friendly and cost effective manner. This is what Geothermal
systems are designed to do.
The earth below a typical residential plot contains a vast reserve of energy that
is available to heat and cool the space. When connected to a ground loop, FHP Aquarius
II units extract heat from the ground to heat your home in the winter and return
heat to the earth to keep your home cool in summer.

WHAT IS SEER?
It's an acronym for:
S = Seasonal
E = Energy
E = Efficiency
R = Ratio
SEER is an efficiency ratio in units of Btu's per watt-hour that attempts to address
the question: how much do I need to pay my electric utility to cool my house?
Well, not really. A SEER rating can't predict your utility bill anymore than it
can predict the weather, but it does provide a consistent means to compare the efficiencies
of various residential air conditioning systems.
WHEN WAS THE SEER RATING FIRST USED?
The Department of Energy (DOE) published the SEER test procedures in the Federal
Registter on December 2, 1979, and it took effect on January 27, 1980. This ruling
did not establish minimum standards; it merely determined the test procedures by
which the efficiencies had to be measured so that fair comparisons could be made.
In this publication, the DOE defines SEER as "the total cooling of a central air
conditioner in Btu's during its normal annual ussage period for cooling divided
by the total electric power input in watt-hours during the same period?.

Mississippi residents have serveral incentives for increasing their energy efficiency,
including the reduction of each months energy bill. Mississippi Power also has a
few incentives worth noting.
Mississippi Power offers loans to it residential customers to help pay for energy
efficiency upgrades. The loan can be used for heat pumps, heating & cooling systems,
electric water heaters, electric cooling if included with electric heat or electric
hot water heating, thermal improvements, duct sealing and infiltration control insultation,
storm doors and Energy Star windows. Interest rates can be as low as 9.9% and the
term can be 2, 4, 5 or 6 years. The website contains an application that must be
filled out and either faxed or mailed to Mississippi Power.

Hermetic Rush Services would like to inform residential owners
of the gradual phasing out of the refrigerant R-22. In 2010, supplies will be more
limited and starting in 2020 new R-22 will no longer be produced. At that time,
consumers will need to rely solely on recycled or stockpiled quantities to service
any systems still using R-22.
R-22 is being phased out because it is a hazard to the ozone layer, and new non-ozone-depleting
alternatives are being introduced and becoming more common. To find out more about the effects and regulations of R-22 visit the EPA's FAQ. For more information about upgrading your system, contact Hermetic Rush Services today!
